Saturday, July 11th, 2026, 9:30am-11:00 am - Intro to Post Crossing X MIKE BENNETT STUDIOS

Join us for a thrilling collaboration at Mike Bennett’s Studio to make a character collage postcard with a Mike Bennett Sticker, and come learn about Post Crossing-- an international postcard exchange!

Note: This event is prior to open studio hours so that we can provide instruction and assistance as needed.

This session includes an introduction to the postcrossing community, help registering for the forum, take-home instructional info zine for future reference, and all materials needed to collage or color a custom postcard— including a Mike Bennett character sticker! We also will provide drop-off service into the mail stream.

You will also receive a special release, postcrossing inspired, triangular, global-forever stamp with art by Jackson Gibbs ($1.70~ value) to prepare your stamp for its overseas journey, (or domestic forever stamp if you pull a recipient with a US addresss).

Feel free to bring your own additional supplies such as additional post cards, magazines for collaging with, or your favorite writing and coloring tools.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

1 Ticket includes one info zine, blank postcard, stamp, and character sticker. You may attend by yourself as an adult, and can bring 1 child for free if you are working on the same postcard. Additional tickets must be purchased for additional participants to receive postcard, zine, and materials. Participants under 18 must have parental consent/supervision to share an address with global strangers.
